Butternut Box Wham Bam Lamb Sheepdog's Pie

Last updated: 22 May 2026

  • Prep Time: 15 mins

  • Serves: 1 very good dog

Ingredients

  • 1 Pouch of Butternut Box Wham Bam Lamb (Aromatic lamb, green beans, and a pinch of turmeric)

  • 2 Organic Sweet Potatoes (Great for digestion and immune support)

  • A splash of Bish Bash Broth (Beef or Chicken)

  • 1 Sprig of Fresh Rosemary (Dog-safe and fragrant)

Optional: A pinch of love (but we know that’s already in there!)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. The golden mash

Peel and cube the two sweet potatoes. Add them to a pan of water and bring to a gentle boil.

Note: No added salt or butter is needed, these are both bad for your pup!

Once soft, drain well and mash until silky smooth.

2. The Wham Bam base

Warm your Wham Bam Lamb pouch gently. Spread the lamb, peas, and carrots evenly into the bottom of your dog's food bowl.

3. The secret splash

For extra hydration and a boost of rich flavour, pour a splash of Bish Bash Broth over the lamb base. This keeps the "pie" juicy and completely irresistible.

4. Top & texture

Spoon the velvety sweet potato mash over the lamb layer. For that authentic, rustic pub look, use the prongs of a fork to create textured peaks and swirls in the mash. It’s all about the aesthetic!

5. The finishing touch

Finely chop a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and sprinkle them over the top. It adds a wonderful herbal aroma that will have their tail wagging well before the bowl even hits the floor.

Let the pie cool to a safe temperature before serving.
